    Engine problem maybe i need a new engine :(

    hi guys
    Tonight I wanted to drive a little bit with my FD, I put petrol and drive. the engine was already in temperature 80° oil temp. I was not running, I just accelerated a little to the max 3500 4000rpm and I heard a noise, not too strong at a PPUUMMM!!!

    since then the engine makes a strange noise like a diesel engine

    (your stationary gear bearings might be bad. You need to STOP running the car immediately if this is the case. Drain the oil and see if you have any gold metal shavings. If you DO, ...you'll need an engine rebuild. How do I know? EXACT SAME THING happened to my last engine)

    It sounds more like a seal chipped\broken after a detonation.

    Well we're off to a rebuild in either case.

    it may very well be a side seal problem or an apex still.
    Unless you have real compression charts is hard to say.
